Together We Make Pittsfield Beautiful

Our goal is to create a welcoming presence in public sites throughout Pittsfield, Massachusetts with colorful plantings of flowers and ornamental shrubs.

Founded in 1989 by Arlia “Tommie” Bailey, Pittsfield Beautiful Inc is a non-profit organization supported entirely by donations and volunteers.

Our volunteers maintain 16 perennial public gardens and 110 containers filled with eye-catching arrangements in the downtown area and surrounding neighborhoods.

We work closely with the City of Pittsfield to encourage beautification efforts that arise from partnerships between local residents, neighborhoods, community support groups, businesses, and the City.

WE ARE NOT HYBERNATING OR IN DORMANCY! WE ARE BUSY PLANNING THE NEXT GARDENING   YEAR  AND LOOKING FORWARD   TO THE PARTICIPATION OF ALL OF OUR GREAT VOLUNTEERS.

STAY TUNED FOR NEW PROJECTS AND A WELL ANTICIPATED YEAR  FILLED WITH BEAUTIFUL   FLOWERS AND PERENNIAL PLANTS.
